I have been training for a year, but I’m not the only one.
Here are the stats to prove it.
In a gym full of men, there are only three women.
There are two women in my age group, one who is 29 and one who’s 33.
But when I’m in a gym with other female athletes, I get a ton of male attention, mostly from male competitors.
I’ve been doing CrossFit for a decade and it’s not just about lifting heavy weights.
It’s about being strong, fit and focused.
It also involves being in shape.
In CrossFit, women compete with one another for prizes and medals.
We compete to have the best workout, get the most sets of reps and get the best splits.
I train to be a great athlete, but if I have to fight for my spot in the gym, I fight hard.
I train hard, so I’m never alone.
When I was younger, I always felt like I was in the shadow of other girls, so that made it hard for me to fit in.
But now I know that CrossFit is just as much a club for girls as it is for boys.
We are competing to build the best body.
In my gym, we’re doing everything we can to build muscles, not just the ones we think are strongest.
We can’t focus on how we look anymore.
The only time we can think about that is when it’s in front of the camera.
And it’s all for the camera, no consideration for how we feel or how we actually feel.
We’re always working to get better.
