The Minecraft Community has long championed the concept that building is cool and that everyone can build anything, and the popular Minecraft game has been praised for its community-driven building tools.
The game was the subject of a massive Kickstarter campaign in 2013, with a large chunk of the money going towards the game’s content creation tools, the latest of which is a Minecraft plugin called the Cool Minecraft Builders.
Now the developer is looking to bring this Minecraft-inspired idea to the Xbox One with the release of the Cool Builders: Build Your Own, a Minecraft-themed Minecraft plugin.
The new tool was announced last week on Xbox Live, and today the developer shared the details for the upcoming release.
The Cool Builder tool will allow you to build Minecraft-esque structures that look and feel like cool Minecraft buildings, such as the base of a castle or a giant robot.
Building with Cool Builds is completely optional and can be turned off by setting a custom build time.
It also has a built-in Minecraft editor, which will allow users to create custom versions of Minecraft-related content.
Cool Build Tools will be available for the Xbox 360 on October 7, 2016.
The Minecraft community has always been a big part of the Xbox platform, and we’re looking forward to bringing more cool Minecraft features to the console.
The company has already shared the official Xbox Store page for Cool Build and plans to continue working with the community to make cool builds even better.
Minecraft is a popular game with over 200 million users worldwide.
Microsoft has a long history of building its own Minecraft-like tools for developers to make games on Xbox One.
The developer also recently launched an Xbox Live Marketplace for Minecraft players.
We can’t wait to see what cool builds developers come up with for Minecraft on Xbox.
