New homes built for developers in 2016 are getting more attention, as developers are looking for new homes to buy.
This week, developer and real estate broker Chris Farkas started a Kickstarter campaign to help pay for the construction of a new home for a new family.
The campaign will go live next week.
Farka, who lives in Dallas, is offering the homes for $1,200 a month.
The homes are being built for an unnamed client, according to the campaign’s description.
Farksa said they have two bedrooms and a three-bedroom house.
“The house will be a three bedroom apartment with 2 baths and a 1,500 square foot basement, a new garage with storage for bikes and a new patio with seating,” the description says.
The project is not cheap, with Farkan offering a $2,000 goal for the project.
“We are looking to get the house built in a very short amount of time and are doing everything possible to make it happen,” he said.
He also added that the project is being funded on his own.
“It is not a one-time project, this is a three year project that will take place,” he wrote in the description.
The goal is $1 million, and Farkam said he will be using his own money for the home.
“If you are interested in helping with this project, please donate via PayPal or Amazon,” he told me.
“I will be making all of the payments.”
